Nyreforeningen. Danish Kidney Association
Nyreforeningen is a Danish patient association and interest group that aims to represent the interests of kidney and urinary tract patients, their relatives and donors. The association was founded in 1975 and today has approximately 5,550 members divided into 16 local circles.
Our work is to improve conditions and treatment options for kidney and urinary tract patients, their relatives and donors. Through our own research fund, we also support Danish research in the kidney field.
All elected members of the management of the Kidney Association, both in the national association and the local districts, work voluntarily.
