EKPF at ESOT Congress 2025: Representing Kidney Patients in London
From June 29 to July 1, the EKPF took part in the ESOT Congress 2025 in London, joining transplant professionals, researchers, and patient organisations from across Europe. This year’s congress focused on two key themes: the exchange of knowledge in the ever-evolving field of organ transplantation, and a collective call to address one of the greatest global challenges of our time — climate change.
As part of our commitment to patient advocacy, the EKPF also participated in the ETPO Alliance Network Meeting, a space that brings together healthcare professionals and transplant patient organisations. The ESOT-ETPO Alliance, led by the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT), works to strengthen collaboration and ensure that the voices of transplant recipients are heard in research, clinical care, and policy discussions.
