EKPF participates in the European Kidney Forum 2025 at the European Parliament

On January 28, EKPF attended the European Kidney Forum 2025, held at the European Parliament and organized by EKHA, with the support of the MEP Group for Kidney Health and co-hosted by MEPs Tomislav Sokol, András Kulja MD, and Hilde Vautmans.

Throughout the event, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and patient organizations highlighted the crucial role of early screening and detection in improving kidney disease diagnosis and treatment.

EKPF president, Daniel Gallego, participated in a panel discussion on policy recommendations to improve early detection, emphasizing the need for greater institutional commitment to preventive measures at the EU level.

At EKPF, we remain committed to making kidney health a priority in the EU agenda, and we thank all speakers and attendees for their invaluable contributions to this important discussion.
