EKPF was present last Tuesday 29th November at the European Parliament. The International Kidney Cancer Coalition organised a round table with MEP Nicolás Casares on the situation of kidney cancer. Monica Suengas presented the position paper on the delay in access to combinations of immunotherapy and targeted therapies for kidney cancer in Spain compared to neighbouring European countries. Important issues were raised around research, the value of patient voice, EU initiatives to support cancer patients, early detection and treatment of kidney cancer.
