EKPF was present during the kick-off meeting of BDPI, a company that offers vascular access solutions for renal patients on dialysis treatments. Once again it has been Daniel Gallego who has offered the vision of patients in this important international meeting. Daniel participated in the plenary session of the Congress, offering his vision as a representative of people with kidney disease, on the importance of putting the patient at the centre of attention and determining the humanistic burden of this disease and mitigating its effects. Our president also had the opportunity to offer his first-hand experience as a representative of EKPF at the table on vascular access for patients in the last stages of kidney disease and the associated quality of life.
