Vascular Access is a key for the life of People with Kidney chronis diasease in haemodialysis treatment, For this reason EKPF decided to translate to English the Spanish version this handbook to teach patients and their carers about the care it need is necesary. The original project were a work between the Spanish Multidisciplinary Group of Vascular Accesses and the Spanish Kidney Patients Federation (ALCER) that they have presented the edition in two versions (both translated to the English), which can be downloaded through the following links:

The joint work, carried out over the last two years, has made it possible to adapt the clinical practice manual for professionals to a language adapted to patients and their families. The Association of Renal Patients of Catalonia (ADER) and the Fundación Renal Íñigo Álvarez de Toledo have also collaborated in this project, in addition to being endorsed by a multitude of professional entities and European patient associations in Latin America.
