FEDERG Meeting in Matorell, Spain

Members of FEDERG, the Federation of Patient Groups Affected by Genetic and Rare Kidney Diseases (members of EKPF), gathered to celebrate 10 years of fighting for rare and genetic kidney diseases. They also discussed new strategies to become a European force in advocating for inclusion policies for these conditions.

Juan Carlos Julián, representing the European Kidney Patients’ Federation (EKPF) and serving as a board member of FEDERG, presented EKPF as a successful model to inspire FEDERG members to follow its example. The goal of the meeting was to plan new practical actions to improve and raise awareness of these diseases, promote research, and actively participate in policy decision-making for the inclusion of these conditions.
