IgAN Friends – A new European community for people living with IgA Nephropathy

We are excited to announce the launch of IgAN Friends, a European platform created to support, connect and empower people living with IgA Nephropathy (IgAN). This initiative has been developed by the EKPF (European Kidney Patients’ Federation) and ERKnet, and shaped thanks to the contributions of a fantastic advisory group made up of patients and healthcare professionals.

IgAN Friends is more than a website – it’s a community space designed by and for people affected by IgAN. Our goal is to provide a place where individuals can share their experiences, access multilingual resources, and participate in regular online meetups to connect with others and explore key topics with professionals, from treatment options to wellbeing.

Stay tuned – we’re planning our first online gathering for April 29th, and we’d love to see many of you there!

We are also working towards organising an annual in-person meeting, so we can build stronger connections and exchange ideas face to face.

The platform is currently available in English, Spanish, German, Italian and French, and we plan to add more languages soon to reach even more people across Europe.

We encourage you to explore the platform, sign up, and share it with others in your community or organisation. Together, we can build a stronger voice for those living with IgAN.
