KREW CAMP 2026 is Here!
EKPF is getting ready for another unforgettable summer. From 9 to 15 July 2026, young people from across Europe will gather in Vernon, France, for a new edition of KREW CAMP, organised in collaboration with our French member association, France Rein.
KREW CAMP has become one of EKPF’s most meaningful youth initiatives — a space where teenagers living with kidney conditions can step outside their daily routines, meet peers who truly understand their experiences, and build confidence in an international and supportive environment.
Set in the green surroundings of CRJS Vernon, near the Seine River, the 2026 edition will combine educational workshops, sports, team-building activities and cultural experiences. Participants will also have the opportunity to explore the region, including a visit to Paris, making this week both enriching and memorable.
Who can participate?
Each country may send up to five participants aged 12 to 17, accompanied by a nurse and an organisational representative. As in previous editions, the involvement of accompanying adults is essential to ensure the wellbeing, inclusion and full participation of all young people.
Importantly, participants on dialysis are welcome. Early notification will allow the necessary medical arrangements to be put in place.
A virtual information meeting will take place in February to provide further details and answer questions from member organisations. Participant registration will open shortly and must be completed before the end of April.
In the coming weeks, EKPF will also share dissemination materials to support national organisations in recruiting their participants.
KREW CAMP continues to demonstrate the power of European collaboration in creating opportunities for young kidney patients to connect, learn and thrive. We look forward to welcoming a new generation of KREW campers to France in July 2026.
