MEETING OF EUROPEAN ASSOCIATIONS OF TRANSPLANTED PERSONS
Within the framework of the Congress of the European Transplant Society (ESOT, European Society for Organ Transplantation) took place on September 14, the advisory meeting of European entities of transplanted persons that the aforementioned European Society has convened in Copenhagen (Denmark). Representing the National ALCER Federation and as secretary of the European Federation of People with Kidney Diseases (EKPF) was our president Daniel Gallego, who also participated by moderating one of the tables of the meeting as moderator.
The meeting had a complete program where the report of the European Kidney Forum was analyzed (where ALCER also participated on June 26), defining the donation and transplant roadmap in Europe, the management of waiting lists for transplantation , equity and access to organs, legal aspects in organ donation and transplantation, patient empowerment or informed consent in the donor.
