The PREVENTCKD consortium shared significant updates on their mission to better prevent Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). The consortium includes EKHA, ISN, EUTOX, IMEC, RENALOO and ISS. This project is co-funded by the European Union and focuses on increasing awareness at both the EU population and policy levels about the characteristics, implications, and impact of CKD. Furthermore, PREVENTCKD actively works towards preventing CKD development through early intervention and lifestyle modifications, screening populations at risk, and encouraging proactive health management for individuals with kidney disease.
By delaying the deterioration of kidney function, enhancing quality of life, and minimizing societal costs, the project aims to reshape the landscape of CKD prevention and management in Europe.
Stay tuned for ongoing updates on the significant strides being made by PREVENTCKD.
