Robert Teržan, member of the Slovenian Association of Kidney Patients’ Associations, has passed away.
Today we have learned of the sad news of the passing away of Robert Teržan.
Robert Teržan was born in Celje in 1961 and struggled with kidney disease all his life. He was a tireless fighter for the people. Throughout his life, he received additional education and in the last years of his life was the president of the Association of Renal Patients in Celje, Slovenia, and since 2019 a member of the executive board of the Association of Renal Patients of Slovenia.
He was a passionate photographer and bird lover.
For the past three years, he has been our liaison with European associations of kidney and transplant patients. He was always more than willing to help with anything the EKPF asked of him and to collaborate in any project that meant helping patients.
The EKPF joins Robert’s family, colleagues and friends in their grief at this difficult time.
May he rest in peace in his native Slovenian land.
